Our Rooms

Choosing a room for your loved one is an important part of finding the right care home. It’s where they will start and end each day, enjoy a little peace and quiet, and surround themselves with the things that make them feel most at home.

At Dale Park Care Home in Southport, our bedrooms are designed to provide 54 residents with a comfortable and welcoming personal space. Following refurbishment, our rooms offer a fresh, pleasant setting where residents can relax, settle into familiar routines and enjoy having a space of their own.

Whether your loved one enjoys a quiet afternoon with a book, watching their favourite television programme or simply having somewhere peaceful to retreat to, we want their room to be somewhere they feel comfortable and at ease.

A Space That Feels Personal

Living with dementia can make unfamiliar surroundings feel overwhelming, which is why having a bedroom that feels recognisable and personal is so important. We encourage families to bring in photographs, favourite ornaments, familiar bedding and other treasured belongings to help your loved one feel more settled. These small touches can provide comfort, spark memories and create a sense of familiarity in a new environment. We also take time to learn about each resident’s background, interests and daily habits, helping us understand what makes them feel most at ease. Our aim is for every bedroom to reflect the individual who lives there, rather than simply being another room in a care home.

Your Own Space, With Everything Around You

At Dale Park Care Home, we recognise that residents living with dementia need surroundings that feel comfortable, familiar and easy to enjoy. Our two dedicated dementia communities each have their own lounges and dining rooms, creating smaller, welcoming environments where residents can spend time with others and enjoy familiar daily routines. Having these shared spaces close to their bedrooms means residents can enjoy a sense of community without feeling far from their own personal space. Whether it’s joining others for a meal, spending time in the lounge or enjoying a quieter part of the day, we want residents to feel settled and comfortable within their surroundings.
